Chemetall Acesolve PSN is a special solvent developed to remove polysulphide-based sealant residues from surfaces, rotating sealing tables and sealing machinery.
The product dissolves both uncured and cured polysulphide sealants, making it suitable for insulating glass production, sealing equipment maintenance and industrial cleaning processes. Acesolve PSN helps maintain clean sealing equipment components when working with polysulphide sealants.

Important to know
Acesolve PSN has a strong solvent effect on plastics, paints and seals, so compatibility testing is recommended before large-scale use. Polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon-based materials are indicated as resistant, while rubber, PVC, polyurethane and Viton may be attacked by Acesolve PSN.
Uncured sealant residues can be removed easily. Parts of sealant mixing machines, such as mixer tubes and guns, can also be cleaned with Acesolve PSN; heavily contaminated machinery parts should be completely immersed overnight. As Acesolve PSN evaporates very slowly, solvent residues should be removed before use by compressed air or base purging.
