DOWSIL™ 3793 is a one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant for the production of hermetically sealed insulating glass units. The product cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture and is used as a secondary sealant in dual-sealed insulating glass units, including window, façade and architectural glazing systems, when applied according to DOW technical recommendations.
The sealant provides good adhesion to glass, coated / reflective glass, metals and selected plastics, as well as resistance to UV radiation, ozone and moisture. It requires no mixing, is easy to dispense and is intended for professional use in insulating glass production.
