A thermoplastic butyl sealing tape for joint sealing, foil bonding, lightweight material fixation and corrosion protection in metal joints.
Rollfix 385019-20PP-1.5 is a hot-melt butyl tape with very high surface tack. The product is suitable for interior and exterior applications, sealing of joints, bonding and fixation of foils and lightweight materials, temporary fixation, corrosion protection in metal joints, as well as vibration and sound proofing applications. The tape provides good adhesion to various materials, good ageing resistance, and stability against water and saltwater in the pH 5–9 range.

Application
Apply the tape directly from the roll to one side of the joint. Cut the tape to the required length, remove the release paper and press the counter part onto the sealing tape. Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from dust, oil, grease and solvents.
Important to know
In contact with some plastic materials, plasticizer migration may occur; testing before application is recommended. The product is not resistant to oil, grease, white spirit and other solvents. Do not use cleaners containing anti-adhesive agents before tape application.
