DOWSIL™ 781 Acetoxy Sealant
DOWSIL™ 781 Acetoxy Sealant is a one-component medium / high modulus acetoxy silicone sealant for professional sealing on non-porous substrates. The product provides good adhesion to glass, aluminium, painted surfaces and composite panels, cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture and forms a durable, elastic seal.
The sealant is used for glazing, façade, aluminium construction and general sealing applications where resistance to ageing, shrinkage, cracking and discoloration is required. It is resistant to ozone, UV radiation and temperature effects. DOWSIL™ 781 is not recommended for structural glazing or insulating glass applications.

LIMITATIONS AND SAFETY
Do not use on porous substrates such as concrete, brick, marble or granite. The product is not suitable for contact with the edge seal of insulating glass units, structural glazing, insulating glass applications, aquariums, submerged applications or areas where food contact is likely.
Do not use on bituminous, natural rubber, chloroprene or EPDM-based substrates, or on materials that may bleed oils, plasticisers or solvents. Acetic acid released during curing may affect mirror backing and sensitive metals such as copper, brass or lead.
