DOWSIL™ FIRESTOP 700 is a one-part, neutral-curing low modulus silicone sealant for fire-rated linear joints and penetration seals. The product cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture, is halogen-free, non-slump and suitable for interior and exterior applications.
The sealant is used for vertical and horizontal joints, partition wall, façade and fire-rated wall joints, as well as pipe and cable penetration seals. DOWSIL™ FIRESTOP 700 provides good adhesion to common construction substrates, including concrete, masonry, brick, stone, wood and steel. Fire resistance classification depends on the specific joint, penetration seal and construction system configuration.
