PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These protective films provide temporary protection for wood and decorative surfaces during manufacturing, storage and installation. Different adhesion levels ensure optimal performance depending on the surface type, allowing reliable protection without damaging sensitive finishes. The film protects against scratches, dust and contamination and can be removed cleanly without leaving adhesive residue.
These films are commonly used in furniture manufacturing, panel processing and interior finishing industries.
Main properties:
✔ Protects against scratches and mechanical damage
✔ Protects against dust, dirt and moisture
✔ Suitable for smooth and structured wood surfaces
✔ Different adhesion levels depending on application
✔ Easy removal without adhesive residue
✔ Designed for temporary surface protection
Applications:
• Wood surfaces
• Laminated panels
• Furniture elements
• MDF, HPL and veneer surfaces
• Decorative boards and interior elements
General technical information:
• Base material: polyethylene (PE)
• Adhesive: solvent acrylic
• Colour: transparent or black/white
• Application temperature: 10°C to 40°C
• Removal: clean removal without residue (within recommended period)
Selection guide:
Choose lower adhesion for sensitive or smooth surfaces and higher adhesion for rough or textured materials.
🔶 Alternative solution:
VIPRO-LF-320 protective coating (spray-applied)
For complex shapes or surfaces where film application is not suitable, a liquid protective coating can be used.
VIPRO-LF-320 forms a temporary peelable protective layer that protects surfaces against scratches, dirt, moisture and construction-related impacts.
After curing, the coating can be easily removed without leaving residue.
Main properties:
Protects against scratches and mechanical damage
Protects against dirt, dust and environmental exposure
Resistant to welding sparks (on glass surfaces)
Forms a uniform protective layer after drying
Easy removal without residue
Suitable for vertical and horizontal surfaces (thixotropic)
Water-based – safe and easy to apply
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Application methods:
ROLLER:
Apply using a short-hair roller without excessive pressure. Apply two coats (allow the first layer to dry before applying the second).
SPRAY APPLICATION:
Recommended to use an airless sprayer (e.g. Wagner).
For air spraying:
Pressure: approx. 2500 psi (150 bar)
Nozzle size: 17 thou
Technical information:
• Base: water-based coating
• Colour: bluish (light transmitting)
• Film type: removable protective layer
• Durability: 6–12 months (depending on conditions)
• Application: indoor and outdoor
• Suitable surfaces: non-porous (glass, aluminium, PVC)
When to use:
• During construction and renovation works
• During installation of windows and facades
• During transport and storage of glass and metal elements
• When protection against welding sparks is required (glass surfaces)
