A one-part neutral curing silicone sealant for non-glass façade panel bonding.
DOWSIL™ 896 PanelFix is designed for panel bonding applications where elastic bonding, immediate initial strength and long-term durability are required. It provides instant green strength directly after application and primerless adhesion to a variety of substrates, including anodized and mill finish aluminium, mineral substrates and stainless steel.
DOWSIL™ 896 PanelFix is UV and weather resistant, with temperature stability up to +150 °C. It is suitable for factory bonding and on-site application, as well as manual, semi-automated and fully automated bonding processes.

Note
Do not use for structural glazing applications in façades or as a sealant for insulating glass units. Each bonding project requires joint dimensioning, adhesion and compatibility testing, and Dow project approval. Avoid contact with sealants that release acetic acid.
